Multi-Tasking All Acrylic Latex
The word "latex" refers to rubber in one form or another. However, many so-called latex paints use resins that are not latex, which has led the industry towards more accurate terms such as "water-thinned" or "water-reducible." If a paint uses latex in its name, it is usually paired with "acrylic," i.e. "acrylic latex." This more accurately describes the use of plastic resin made of acrylics. Latex paint, especially acrylic latex paint, has environmental advantages over oil-based paint.
The Perfect Ending to any race is to Finish STRONG!
There is a balance in creating a perfect finish that is both durable and beautiful. Maintaining this balance often makes the difference between a masterpiece that brings a room together and any common finish. Achieving excellence in the final stages initially depends on the first encounter with the substrate. In other words the visible premium final touch on the wood is basically determined by the quality of the sealer. It all starts with choosing and applying the right sealer. When you properly seal your wooden substrates, you lay the foundation for creating a stunning appearance that will stand the test of time. In addition to the various essential points achieved by the sealer it increases the life of the finish and allows you a greater range of color options to choose from. By properly sealing your wooden substrate, this will allow you to bring out the rich natural look of your floors since wood finishes are eye catchy especially if they are professionally made.

Build a Solid Base for the Finish
When you apply a finish to untreated wood, it will soak into the wood. This soaking effect can not only damage your hardwood floors, but it can also increase the amount of finish you need to complete the job. By sealing the wood first, you supply a base for the finish to sit upon. With the finish sitting on top of the wood, there is a barrier that is created between the floor and the finish. This barrier helps to protect the wood from damage and increases the life of the finish. Not to mention that the less finish you use, the less money you will have to pay to get the desired result you are looking for.
